Description

Deaver Progressive Series springs are high-quality 9-leaf and 10-leaf units fabricated with high grade 5160 “American Made” steel. A higher leaf count spring allows the use of thinner leaf material that yields a more flexible progressive leaf stack, or pyramid, producing a much smoother spring rate curve throughout the complete suspension cycle. The even, linear compression rate curve of our progressive system spring is the primary key to excellent ride quality.

Other designs features include full military-wrapped spring eyes for superior durability, diamond cut inner leaf ends minimizing shear points and anti-friction pads inserted between the leafs for a smoother ride and quiet operation.

Combined with properly valved shock absorbers, the ride is enhanced beyond belief.

    I just installed these on my 2013 F-150 Platinum and my truck now sits perfectly level. I had leveled the front when i got it with a 2/12 inch leveling kit but with a shell on the back and an Aluminess bumper with a swing-out tire carrier and galley box the rear was sagging badly; almost 3 inches lower than the front.
    I installed the springs with a friend in a driveway and it took about 4 hours; a local shop didn’t want to install them because they though the gas tank had to be dropped to remove the front spring bolts. I watched a You Tube video where a guy just cut them off so that’s what i did. I was about to head out to find new bolts when i opened the box with the bushings and U-bolts and much to my surprise there were two big bolts in the kit! The kit has everything you need to complete the installation minus the tools needed for the job.
    I took the truck for a test drive and it rides 80% better than before, I love these springs and the fact that the kit was so complete makes it a 5-star product. The guys at Deaver are super helpful too making sure i got the right sprigs for my needs.

    Replaced tired-out factory XLT springs in 2012 F150 that carries 400-500lbs (bed) winter, and various hauling and bumper hitch towing winter/summer. The Deaver HD’s (with Bilstein 5100’s and factory tires) and factory riser block removed, raised the bumper 2 inches compared to worn-out height. The front has 2 inch leveling kit; result is maybe 1/2 inch of rake unloaded and flat when loaded. The ride quality while empty is ever slightly firmer, barely noticeable. However, loaded up the truck is now much smoother and stabile while transiting rough and unimproved roads. Fantastic ride quality overall. Very happy with.
